Rooms

  You stand on a rocky ledge sparsely covered with ancient oaks and aspens.

A fierce wind howls across the ground. It picks up particles of dust as it

rips through the twisted branches. Small patches of grass ripple with its

touch and the ancient trees grow half bent from its torrential gusts. Their

branches tangle into each other in a vain attempt to reach the sky. Parts

of the beach below disappear into the dense forest. Wisp of mist arise from

the tops of the trees and swirl slowly on the wind. The faint smell of sea

salt lingers in the air. A small, rocky path winds its way down the cliff

face. You wonder where it leads.
