Description

  Miring through the blistering, shifting sand remains a great chore. 

Occasional islands of rock provide a brief respite from the endless

trudging, although not the unbearable heat.  Nothing stands tall enough here

to cast even the slightest shadow.  What few there should be are eliminated

by the reflection from the sand.  A high, forboding cliff blocks further

passage northeast and east, its many crags and crevices brightly illuminated

by the unhindered sun.
