Rooms

A deep hush accompanies every step along the stairway as the path leads

into the encompassing darkness of a platform. The room that spans out from

the landing is an expansive circle, its similarly shaped dome both broad and

encompassing. The outer ring is lined by dark wood crescent shelving, each

cubby lit with low interior illumination, while the center of the room is

set lower and reached by soft carpeted stairs. Intimate concentric circular

landings ringed with more low set shelves and furnished with either crescent

couches or tables and chairs are set throughout, each space lit by hovering

amethyst crystals. The wonder of the dome above is revealed as it shimmers

at intervals, allowing the gentle fall of dark moonlight and the everdark of

a flowing sky to bathe the chamber and occupants. At the precise apex of

the rounded ceiling, an open-air oculus sits like a crystalline eye while

beneath it, an obelisk of dark agate crackles occasionally with an arcane

current.
