A descending corridor of stairs exiting the temple proper gives way to a

lush and esoteric garden that sprawls across the temple grounds upon this

twilight plane above the city below. The Black Moon hangs prominently above

an otherworldly landscape punctuated by jutting crystal and ethereal flora.

A path of crushed stone winds a serpentine trail through the grounds,

weaving its way through beds of luminescent blossoms and willowy fronds

aglow with foxfire. Unusual songs of foreign birds occasionally fill the

air as dark wings carry them from place to place. The path terminates where

it reaches the unblemished shoreline of dark, crystalline sands of an onyx

lake. The water's threshold laps gently at the shore before receding off

across the horizon, flowing off the night garden's edge and down to form

another pool on a lesser isle far below.

Through a dark pergola arbor that drapes fragrant black moon-flower from

elegant and ethereal vine tendrils, a crescent of crushed stone is ringed in

by six immense draconic statues further enhanced by illusory arcana, a

granite plaque on a short pedestal sits centermost.
