Title

The Heart of the Moonsprings

Description

  The path to the south opens into a wide grove, a place resplendent

beneath the canopy of the sky.  Above, even above the glaring light of the

sun, the outline of the White Moon can be seen in the heavens.  At another

angle, the circular crimson disc of the Red Moon hangs like a second bloody

sun.  For those with the eyes to see it, set against the sky's majesty, the

Black Moon hovers like a wound in the heavens, at times no more than a

pinprick, at other times a growing maw of darkness.  



Below, the path has become a circular stone epicenter, within which sits a

strange obelisk or monument that appears to be dedicated to someone or

something's glory.  The stones of the gathering place are laid in the

careful pattern, following the moons' colorations of white, red, and black. 

Accordingly, at the edges of the inner circle, three paths lead back into

the brush, one laid in white, one in red, and one in black.

stars around it, the White Moon floats in silent vigil.  Across from it, the

crimson orb of the Red Moon casts its glow across its celestial domain. 

Opposite the other two, only a hole in the sky betrays the presence of the

Black Moon, swallowing the light of the stars around it.
