Rooms

  This room is one of awe and stillness. Black flame candles are set in

evenly-spaced sconces along the two side walls, casting ever-changing

shadows throughout the room. The back wall is made up of an image of

Necrucifer, Master of Darkness, in bas-relief. All races of Algoron are

depicted kneeling around him: powerful demons, broken-winged angels,

humans, ogres, elves, goblinoids, and even the gods of Balance and

Goodness with bodies maimed by war. His feet are upon a pedestal, and

various sacrifices are laid there, including holy symbols, wilted roses,

jewels, weapons, and even a lock of hair. Extended from the sculpture

the cupped hands of the Father of Evil reach out to receive offerings

of blood, which are carried by hidden drains to the most magnificent

feature of the shrine: a wall-to-wall map of Algoron protected beneath

a sheet of pristine glass on the floor, its etched-out oceans shades of

black, brown, and red from fresh and dried blood of the faithful.
