Rooms

The long room expands further southward as you enter from the south

hallway, a dark purple carpet defining a path between the tall rise of dark

wood shelves while a row of arched stained glass windows dominate the wall

ahead. The scent of aged tomes and parchment permeate although the faint

hint of sandalwood with milder floral scents mingle from a bronze incense

burner suspended from the arched ceiling. Two crystal chandeliers cast pale

illumination over the marbled floor and the rows of shelving all the way to

the furthest southern wall where a carpeted reading area takes over.

The south wall itself is given to a modest fireplace and bracketing it are

two deep-cushioned chairs and a long couch. Off to the sides span rounded

tables, each with a crystal lamp atop the center.

In the very center of the library, suspended above a black rune-inscribed

pillar, is a darkly radiant tome that wafts a cold sinister mist.
