The sands of the great eastern desert touch the walls of New Thalos here.

is to the east, and the trail continues along the wall to the west.

The shifting sands of the desert meet with the solid city wall of New

east and west here, but traveling away from this clear landmark would prove

dangerous. The southern gate of the city is to the west. A dark keep rises

against the sands to the south.
