Description

  The shifting sands of the great eastern desert form drifts against the

tall walls of New Thalos here.  To the south the main road across the desert

to the west enters into the city's west gate.  The sandy trail becomes a bit

more rocky to the north, and you can see vast rocky plains and hills in the

distance.

Description

  Above you to the southeast rises the graceful minaret of the northwestern

watch tower of New Thalos.  The sand shifts and drifts against the sturdy

city wall.  A number of boulders, polished smooth from wind and sand, are

scattered about here.  The sandy trail makes a bend around the corner of the

wall here to the south and east.

Description

  The Sands of Sorrow drift against the mighty walls of New Thalos here.  A

faint trail leads around the outside of the city walls to the north and

south.  A few rocks are scattered about here, smoothy polished by wind and

sand.

Description

  Sand drifts up against the tall and sturdy stone wall to the south.  The

desert sands are scattered with rocks here.  To the north dry and hardy

grasses appear to be growing in the sandy soil.  The path around the city

walls continues to the east towards the north gate and west here.
