Outside the Southern Gate of New Thalos

You see before you the expanse of the Sands of Sorrow. The shifting

sands stretch on endlessly to the south, hiding treasure and adventure. A

worn trail in the shifting sands leads to an oasis to the southwest. You

can walk the sands around the city wall to the east and west.

A temple rises to the northeast.
