Title

On the Mountain Path

Description

The forest gives way from the thick underbrush of the southern lands,

verdant canopies smothering the light no longer. However, the sun and moons

still contend with the shadow cast by a towering mountain that looms to the

north and the thunderous clouds that swirl about the craggy peak. Flashes

of lightning pierce the dreadful gloom nearly constantly, the rumble of

thunder floats down the alpine path like a titan's growl.

Title

On the Mountain Path

Description

An enormous mountain looms to the northeast, a stormy wind billowing down

the alpine trail. Craggy rocks threaten to give way along the path, and the

rolling of thunder from the mountain's face is strong enough to rattle your

teeth in your head. So thick are the clouds that the mountain's peak cannot

be discerned through the oppressive thunderheads, and the flashes of

lightning in their umbral depths offers brief illumination of the southern

face of the mountain. The path winds northeast, leading straight to the

foot of the storm-wracked mountain.
