Description

  You stand on a narrow path that leads north and south.  Toward the east

lies the beginnings of a pine forest.  It looks cold and dark with the upper

branches of the trees are lightly covered in snow.  You watch your step

carefully for fear of slipping into the chasim that lies to your west.  The

trail you are standing on continues to the north and south.

Description

  There is snow falling muffling all sound even your own footsteps.  The

chilling wind bites at your skin as it blows against you.  The trail you are

standing on is slick with snow and ice as you scramble to maintain your

balance so as not to fall into the chasm to the west.  The forest toward the

east is quiet, dark, and gloomy.  The slippery trail continues north and

south.
