  As the waves below beat at the base of the glacier, you feel their

thunderous pounding being reverberated up through the ice to where you now

stand.  Spray wafts up, freezing on all surfaces, including you.  Snow is

cruelly blown in your face by the wind.

Description

  Mists thrown up from the waves crashing upon the coastline settle around,

coating everything in rime.  Thunderous crashes bespeak ice falling to it's

doom in the sea.  Wind, whipping up snow, and re-making drifts carries a

chill bite with it.

  A bone-chilling wind whips snow around you, shifting drifts as you watch.

Many a snow devil is blown up to disappear shortly afterwards.  Incredible

booms as fresh icebergs break off the wall and splash into the sea deafen

you.

Description

  Rime covers you as mist from the sea blows up and over you.  Thunderous

crashes are heard as ice falls, swallowed into the cold sea.  Heavy snows

have fallen here as of late, covering any tracks that may have been left by

you or others.  Snow scours the glacier to bare ice in places, but forms

deep, shifting drifts.
