Near a Sandy Pit

Description

  A small dusting of sand sticks to the crevices in the uneven stone here. 

Northward, a great light seems to be shining from the ground itself.  Fine

particles of sand break against you in the furnace-like breeze, wriggling

into eyes, clothes, and armor.  Two narrow trails, also bearing trace

amounts of sand, lead off toward the north, while the passage south leads

beneath a large, cracked boulder.
