Rooms

Rich dark wood doors etched with elegant arcane runes open into a

polished vestibule of black marble infused with dark lavender whorls.

Arches of sturdy granite reach up into soaring rafters, obscured with a

chill mist and shifting shadows. The pathway is lined by tall alcoves along

the walls enclosed by softly leaded windows, within which float ghostly

disembodied lights casting pale luminescence around the statues of

black-robed mages, and ahead sitting prominently on a raised square platform

surrounded by lavender rose petals is an intimidating marble statue of the

Faceless man; its imposing size is obscured by a cloak, its cowled face

little more than a deep impenetrable shadow.

Dark plush purple carpeting with black runes along the outer edges spans

forward, parting around the platform, to lead past four armored temple

knights who stand in silent observation at the sides of each entryway

leading forward and branching out into north and south wings.
