The arched temple approach is paved with dark cobblestone and flanked by

two black statues of robed and cowled priests. The left holds a sword

upright, the symbol of a black sun at the end of a chain in its free hand -

alight with fiery unholy flame. The right holds a shield and a symbol of

the black moon at the end of a chain in its free hand - burning with a

radiant unholy flame. Long-stemmed roses of varying color line the path,

lending their heady fragrance to the air and their vivid petals to the

ground.

As the path winds forward, overshadowed by tall ethereal crimson king maple

trees displaying vibrant dark purple leaves, the deep and pervasive sanctity

of the consecrated temple grounds creates a palpable hush of awe overseen by

the perpetual twilight and looming nearness of the Black Moon. The temple

itself dominates the background from the sprawling dark narthex archway to

the imposing rise of its main citadel and spire towering above the trees

while to the south and north, paths angles off toward a lower set of dark

stone buildings and a dark sprawling garden.

Temple Knights and Black Robed acolytes bearing the Selenic crest of a

lavender rose across a black crescent moon patrol the grounds.
