Description

  Dust catches in tiny, shelf-like crevices in an otherwise bizzarely

smooth stretch of stone.  Somewhat large rocks, all half-polished along the

bottom side, lie scattered throughout, tiny scrub plants clinging to their

merciful shadows.  This odd feature terminates in a small pocket of gravel. 

Northward, through the heated air, a massive boulder can be seen at rest, a

jagged crack running down its middle.

Objects seen

     A dotting of tiny green leaves barely indicates the presence of a plant.

     A steaming pile of a desert condor's entrails is lying here.
