A grand zoo full of exotic and magical creatures lies east of you. The

first Sultan of New Thalos started this magnificent menagerie, and every

ruler since him has added to it. The city's reputation for purchasing

exotic animals is well known and it attracks merchants from the four corners

of the world. Chirping, howling, barking, and other sounds can be heard as

animals in their various cages speak in unknown languages. A slightly

rancid smell drifts in from the east. The zookeeper doesn't enjoy cleaning

most of the cages and he downright refuses to clean some of them.
