Rooms

  The perimeter street of Echelon Way offers nothing more than passage through 

town.  The poorly paved road shows the incomplete cobbling of either a young 

town or a poorly kept one.  By the looks of the guards and the demeanor of the 

people, Arkane seems to be a young town, on the rise. 

  Echelon Way continues to the east and west here, while the small Temple

Road turns off to the south.  To the east and west you can clearly see the

lookout towers for each corner of town.  To the north, the city wall of

Arkane is all that is visible as it rises above your line of sight.  



Set against the northern wall, is a cavern-like building with doors wide

open and a sign above that reads, "Grayclaw's Seafood Delights".  

  The walls of a storefront can be seen to the north and south, while the

east and west surrenders more of Echelon Way to your disposal.  The street

is quiet and peaceful, as citizens hurry about their business.  

  The sturdy wall of Arkane blocks your passage north, while the walls of the 

tavern impedes any passage south.  The east and west continue off until they 

hit the outer walls of the city.  People move quietly about their business, 

occasionally bumping into you to get by. 

  A small alley breaks off the street here to the south.  The source of all the 

noise is the blacksmith in the alley, creating and selling wares.  A tavern 

also lies down this alley, its haphazard sign swinging in the barely present 

breeze. 

  Due to the perimeter wall to the north and the building to the south, the only 

option for any travel is to the east and west, which offer more of Echelon 

Way.  The smells of a bakery fill the air as the aroma of bread and pastries 

comes from somewhere off to the south.
