Rooms

  A bitter, cold wind whips up some snow, blowing it between boulders of

ice and stone.  An ice crust crackles and crunches beneath your step.  The

sea is frothing angrily, trying to reach and swallow you.  

  The shore line is slowly curving west towards the land.  The sand of this

beach is once again very warm and you can feel it underfoot.  There are a

few shells and stones littered around on the beach.  A cooling breeze blows

over you from the east.  There are many palm trees on the beach and you can

see dense bushes further inland.  A beautiful tropical bird flies by over

head, you get a good look at it before it is out of sight.  

  The hot sand of this beach is wet by the waves creeping up from the sea. 

Small stones and shells are gently washed away in the waves.  Patches of

grass spring up all around the beach, each patch with a palm tree in the

middle.

shoreline.  Chunks of ice float upon the sea.  A bleak landscape;

inhospitable by normal standards.

between blocks of ice and stone.  Ice chunks float upon the choppy ocean.  

  Snow has piled up to the west.  There is a relatively clear area at the

interface of sea and land.  The ocean, dark and choppy, is laden with ice

that's been taken off the continent.  Along the shore, there is a crust of

ice where the water laps upon the shore.  

  Floating in the ocean, blocks of ice bob up and down.  To the west lie

drifts of snow, deep and cold.  Between the two, a sheet of ice is forming

where the sea laps upon the rocks of Icewall...
