You find yourself on the eastern side of Main street that begins with the

New Thalosian marketplace and ends at the city gates. The street itself is

bustling with activity as shops line the area with many vendors outside

toting their wares. Strange scents drift upon the air and tickle your nose

and there is a sign overhead to the north that reads "Witch's Brew". A

further look around shows that the sands that color this part of the street

are not the golden granules that you would expect to find but those of a

rich, ebon powder.

You are on East Main Street. To the north is the opening to the civilian

housing area of New Thalos. South of you is a dark alley. The road

continues east and west.

As you look up, there seems to be an oddity upon the sky, a long stretch of

dark green that looks like it could be a length of twisted vine with white

fleshy rooted tendrils stretching out toward the ground.... Impossible

Here on East Main, you smell the odor of freshly slaughtered meat and

hear the pounding of new metal from the armory. The Square is to the west

and a junction is to the East. To the north lies "Desert Loom Shop".

Curling smoke drifts out from a stack jutting out of a building to the

northwest, filling the air with the tantalizing scent of cooking meats.

There is a clear energy in the air that is not only from those that go to

and from conducting their business but also from an interesting mark upon

the sky. Regardless of how you move or where you stand, as you look upward,

the sky appears to be ripped and it crackles with a brilliant current that

appears to be the color of eggplant. Further, the sands that color this
