Title

Deep inside the Wood - Before the Great Oak

Description

The dark, nightshaded green of the wood surrounds you, embracing you in a

blanket of leaf and star. The woods here seem to open up into a vast

clearing, that is canopied by only one tree. In the moonlight, the mighty

oak before you seems to give off a faint light of its own, which pulses

gently in time to the throb of the forest. Its massive root structure

splays across the ground, knotted and ancient in appearance. The shadows of

other trees droop here, as if bowing down in reverence.
