Title

Deep Inside a Verdant Wood

Description

Sunlight barely filters in through the thick canopy of leaves overhead,

leaving the forest floor a deep and encompassing green. What sunlight does

reach the ground, reaches it in patches, seperate beams ascending downward

from lofty heights to bless the carrion floor with its presance. All around

the erratic chirping of birds is joyous and merry, weaving a peaceful and

comfortable spell. As if bewitching the mind, it is hard to keep your

direction. Each green mingles into other greens in a near-dizzying circle.

Title

Deep Inside a Verdant Wood

Description

Walking through vast woods, the deep green tree canopy overhead obscures

most of the moonlight. There is the occasional rustle of limb and leaf, and

the eerie sound of near silence all around. The woods do not feel

particularly dangerous, but there is an aura that hangs in the air, thick

like molassass. The air seems charged, nearly dripping with magic.

Underfoot, the ground seems black, as if walking on a void.
