Rooms

Grand, arched double doors open into a soaring rounded chamber that rises into

pure darkness above. Black marbled floor spans out to thick walls with tall arched

alcoves stocked with tomes and scrolls. Disembodied flames flickering with sharp

illumination hover in an umbral symbol just below the impenetrable darkness of

the ceiling, casting ominous shadows through the room. A long oval table of black

granite and whorling soulsteel fills the center of the chamber, its middle given

to an eternally burning brazier and a low umbral flame. Tall cushioned chairs

surround the table and along the walls hang two tapestries, one depicting the

Darkness and the other a detailed map of Algoron and the planes beyond.
