Rooms

  The staircase ends at a rectangular shaped room constructed of the same

black marble as the rest of the keep.  The walls, however, are inscribed

with numerous sigils and runes, surrounded on all sides by phrases and

dialects of an unknown nature.  They run laterally and vertically across the

stone and pulse with a dim glow.  The room itself is filled with a soft

humming sound that echoes off the stone and sweeps over you like an ocean

breeze.  At the far end of the room, the wall shimmers with a transparent

light through which you are able to make out shapes and shadows.  Through

closer inspection, you might discover what lies on the other side.  

 

A small bronze plaque is mounted to the eastern wall.
