  Dunes rise all around, the sand sifting and moving in a way that would

make traveling to the north somewhat difficult and unwelcomed.  A large

solid rock formation rises to the west, the sun heating and baking the rock

and giving an almost blinding glare as it reflects over the sand dunes. 

Towards the south the heat wave rises from the sand making it difficult to

tell if there is an oasis out there or a mirage.   

  Dunes rise all around, the sand sifting and moving down the northern

edge, making passage to the north rather dangerous.  With the sun gone, the

air becomes chilly almost to the freezing point this far into the desert. 

To the west a solid wall of stone can be seen as the moonlight reflects from

the stones.

and sand that erodes it, the wall bares not even footholds and with the sun

right on it, it emits scorching heat that could burn if touched.  Towards

the south the heat wave rises from the sand making it difficult to tell if

there is an oasis out there or just a mirage.

eastern side of the desert.  To the west a solid wall of stone can be seen
