Rooms

  Tall arcanium-banded doors of dark wood stand guard before a room both

cavernous and strikingly bold in its sable decor.  Granite flooring gives

way to tall, gothic pillars and walls imprinted by deep alcoves, each

bearing a flameless sconce that glimmers with cold, pale light.  Dangling

from an impressive height, a chandelier of shaded iron contains many more of

the cold, pale lights.  This view draws attention to the concave ceiling and

the many beams strung across its opaque surface, each acting as a perch for

hunched stone demons that look down on occupants with gleaming red gazes.

A cold black stone fountain offers water in a deep basin in the southern half

of the room, surrounded by a circular stone bench that hugs the windowless

wall.



An archaic arch leads off to the right wing of the building, bracketed by a

pair of black robed and cowled acolytes holding bronze incense burners on the

ends of linked chains.

 

A small plaque sits by the door.
