Rooms

  Shadows curl about the corners and edges of this establishment,

encroaching upon a larger open space to make it seem more like the ensconced

jewel that it is.  Candle lit crimson globes sit in the front windows,

bright enough to illuminate the glass but not beyond.  A charm of some sort

keeps the internal affairs of this building from bring advertised beyond the

shadowy confines.  A large, wrought iron chandelier hangs suspended centered

in the room on an iron chain and providing light in the form of shimmering

balls about the boughs instead of candles.  Similar orbs of light cling to

the walls in the form of sconces, keeping the atmosphere intimate and the

light low.  The northeastern corner of the room has been dedicated to a

small stage of polished black ironwood, upon which, those employed for

providing background music have taken up residence.  Soft background music

floats among the patrons, lending to an inviting atmosphere that further

disrupts any private conversations from drifting on as anything more than

soft timbre of voices.  



Comfortable tables and booths line the perimeter of the room with seating of

butter soft, ebon leather, the comfortable seating flanking tops of polished

obsidian marble laced with deep crimson veining.  Silver gilt frames rest at

the end of the tables nearest the wall and display the house specialties of

the evening as well as the offered drinks available.  A waiter makes his way

between the tables quietly, taking orders and delivering meals with as

little intrusion as possible.  Occasionally, he makes his way into the room

to the south, where the faintest scent of rich tobacco smoke drifts on

stirred air and the clink of glass can occasionally be heard.
