The path is barely marked and cut as it winds through the forest. In the distance through the snow dusted trees, the highlands and mountains loom. The trail continues to the northwest and to the southeast.

The debris piles have grown together here, forming a long trench that leads down. The dark stones of the path are barely visible in the trench. A dark rock face rises northwest of here and the twin shrubs marking the trailhead are southeast.
