Rooms

  The trees seem to be a little further back from the trail here, a fire

pit still not overgrown by the mighty forest.  Although you can see nothing

magical about the fire pit, it does seem odd it would withstand the

encroaching forest.  Seems like an excellent place for a camp however.  

  You are sheltered from the winds from the west as the trail heads

slightly into the woods.  Although the trail is much darker in the forest,

the quiet rustling of the trees is somewhat comforting.  Oddly, there seems

to be no sounds of nature, no birds or small forest creatures.  Perhaps that

is due to your presence.  

  The temperature here near the southern part of Arkania is quite

comfortable.  You can certainly understand why people would have settled on

this continent, if this is the norm.  The trees, back a ways from the trail,

are huge.  Almost mythical in proportion, you can almost believe the rumors

you've heard of the creatures which it is claimed, inhabit this forest.  

  The forest towers above you, blocking your view to the west.  To the

east, the great expanse of the Roully Bab Binb is almost overwhelming.  The

thin trail you travel provides unsure footing around the forest continent of

Arkania.  But better the trail than taking your chances in the wilderness of

that gloomy forest.  

  The trail is about sea level here on the eastern side of Arkania.  To the

east, it rises up, climbing atop a small cliff.  It continues south, the

terrain looking a little more friendly in that direction.  The menacing

forest seems to surround you, giant trees everywhere the Dragon Sea is not. 

  You stand upon a small point, the land jutting south and east as if

trying to escape the mainland.  A small island seems to be visible far out

to the south, though it is hard to tell.  The waves are choppy far out on

the sea, and the wind blows hard, rustling the leaves on the trees in the

great forest behind you.
