Rooms

A palpable and deep sense of Darkness grips the chamber, obscuring any

awareness of walls, floor, or ceiling. All sense of time or direction falls

away as a shadowy current flows with intense speed and violent eddies and

maelstroms spin with obliterating purpose. Violet lightning arcs through

the indigo-laced currents but no sound follows and as the obfuscating tide

begins to clear, the Darkmoon casting its vibrant rays as if filtered

through a shifting watery surface, the current slows and the weight,

darkness, and stillness of a deep sea floor take precedence.

Living shadows move all around, some creeping or slithering like misshapen

creatures, others as massive as leviathans. A path lit by the Darkmoon's

rays takes slow shape, leading to a forbidding rune-etched stone abyss or

back toward a stone archway exit. The urge to enter the fissure or turn

back becomes overpowering.
