You are at the beginning of a snowy mountain pass which leads off to the northeast. The trail itself leads off to the northwest and to the south. As you stand here before the mountains the winds have died down and are not as fierce as they have been. Now might be a good time to rest before continuing your adventures.

Description
In the distant north you can see a pass leading into the mountains. The mountains are slightly blocking the wind and is giving you a brief reprieve from the winters everlasting cold. The trail you are on continues northward toward the mountains and southward toward a small hilly area.

Description
You stand upon the snowy trail as the cold chills your bones. The further north you go it seems to get incessantly colder. The matted snow continues to the north and toward the southwest. As you look around you can see small paw prints leading to the southwest leading to a hilly area.

Description
The snow here looks matted down into what looks to be a trail of a sort. On each side of the trail are snow drifts about 5 feet high which impedes you from going in those directions. Toward the southeast you can see a fork in the road and the trail continues west.
