Description

  Compared to the halls and such this room appears to be rather plain.  A

small cot lies up against the wall.  A pair of shackles hang from the

ceiling just above the cot.  At the foot of the cot is another pair of

shackles strung through a bolt that is stuck into the floor.

  You are in a small office. It looks like a calligrapher's study, there

are quills, inkpots and parchments all about on desks and worktables.

A section to the west seems to be curtained off, but the flicker of a

candle can be seen through the curtain.

Description

  This room holds simple vallenwood furniture that, oddly enough, resists

the ravages of time and decay.  A map of a kingdom that no longer exists is

hung on the wall.  There is a painting of the King above the small desk.  A

plume pen still sits in its bottle of ink, awaiting use.  You frown, trying

to decipher some script that has been written on parchment paper.  It is in

a strange, cryptic language that you don't recognize.  This room seems to

have been vacated rather quickly.  Book shelves hold books written in

several different languages.  You can identify Elven, Dwarvish, and common. 

There are many you have never seen before.  Perhaps this was the office of a

diplomat.
