A Rocky Path Down The Cliff Face

Description

  The rocky trail widens here and a small ledge hangs above your head. Long

cracks scar the basalt and form bizarre patterns across the cliff face. The

wind blows in malevolent gusts and almost knocks you down. All sound is

stifled by its eerie wail resounding off the rocks. Billowy clouds swiftly

shift across the azure sky. They seem to mingle with the mist as it swirls

above the tree tops far below you. The dense forest swallows up the beach

and blocks it from your view. A large boulder sits in the center of the path.

Some sort of ancient script has been carved within its stone. The path

continues downward.

Description

  The rocky trail narrows as you continue downward. The mist dances in and

out of the tree tops below you. It hangs above the ground and swirls slowly

as it licks the edge of the forest at the trail's end. The dense forest

blocks the wind and muffles its eerie cry. You gaze at the clearing below

and a shiver runs down your spine. You wonder if you should continue down

or go back the way you came.
