Rooms

  The rock underfoot here is jagged and sharp.  Two colors and textures are

visible in the hard stone, one the reddish, rusty color that predominates

this area, the other a strange sandy gray.  The mixture is not a pleasant

one, as footing becomes even more hazardous.  With nothing about to afford a

sliver of shade, the heat here makes it extremely uncomfortable to stop even

for a brief breather.  Any passage north is blocked by an upheaval of

wretchedly sharp rock.
