What little snow reaches the ground\n\nwhips around like ghostly fingers, reaching out to touch you with frostbite.\n\nAs the glacier moves ever forward and backwards, like a great, slow tide,\n\nyou can hear the distant and sometimes not so distant rumble of ice and\n\nrock, cracking and scraping. Out here nothing appears to live. You see\n\nonly a barren waste that does not give you the benefit of describing it as\n\nfrom one horizon to the next. Even when the clouds break and the storms\n\nsubside, glare from sun or moonlight bounce off the mirror like surface to\n\nburn at your retinas. \n\n\r\n",

"rawDescription": " The main glacier squeezes between mountains here like a giant hourglass\n\nspilling sand from the top to the bottom. The howl of the winds leaves\n\nnothing suspended in the air, and your very voice lingers in the air only a\n\nbreath away from you before it too is swept up in the blasting torrent of\n\nair. While the force of the ice pulverizes the mountain the wind does the\n\nsame to the ice, and has smoothed the surface of the glacier to the fine\n\npolish of a glass mirror. \n\n\r\n",
